Sediba is an exclusive haven of stylish tranquillity bathed luxury surrounded by wild Africa in all her splendour. Situated in the malaria-free Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, only a three-hour drive or one hour flight from Johannesburg. Sediba means 'spring' or 'source' in the traditional Sotho language and consists of two all-suite lodges; Letlapala and Letlapa. Guests are welcome to stay at either of the two lodges as both provide an equal source of wellbeing and complete relaxation. The lodges are a five minute drive apart from one another. Letlapa meaning 'rock' lodge, situated in a valley with a perennial stream running through it. Letlapa has ten double suites. The suites in Letlapa are linked to each other and to the main lodge by boardwalks. Letlapala meaning 'the place of the sun' is aptly named as it is situated on one of the highest points of the reserve, basking in both sunrise and sunset and providing guests with spectacular views over the Welgevonden Reserve. Letlapala is the more intimate of the two lodges as it has a mere five double guest suites and one main lodge. In the main lodge guests can enjoy private candle-lit dinners on the viewing deck or around the fire in the traditional Boma. Every aspect at the lodge is carefully designed to seamlessly blend into the environment whilst providing all thinkable comfort.
